The cortical folding process is studied from antenatal imaging in order to infer
models of the sulcus interruptions
A: The central sulcus is made up of two sketches, which we call sulcal roots.
B: Sometimes, the two roots do not merge together leading to an interruption pattern.
C: Most of the time, clues about the sulcal roots can be found in the depth of the adult sulci.
