ok, it works !
I was just mislead by an example of a GIS header file (found in one of the forums here)
which was displaying the -bo line after the pixel size information line.

Hi everybody, I tried to read data in GIS format with anatomist, and have inserted the line "-bo ABCD" in the *.dim file. Data type is S16. Anatomist then gets stuck forever in reading the file, whatever the bo coding is. (If I remove this -bo line from the *.dim file, Anatomist can read i...

I tried to sum frames of a dynamic PET series in ECAT format (*.v) using :
AimsSumFrame -i *.v -s 7 -o sum*.v
here is the message I got:
" Image is a PET image and shold not be ! "
And the result file is not created.
Could you explain me that ?
