Re: Optimizing surface renderings
I apologize for being naive, but I have not yet tried manually inputing any commands and am not really sure how to do that (I think that is what you are suggesting I do, correct?). When I try to open a "shell" the program crashes, so I'm hoping that's not how to do it. Do I need an additio...

Re: Reliability and accuracy of sulcal labels - reference?
Thanks! To verify, if I'm using v3.2 and select "Automatic recognition" in the Pipeline rather than "SPAM recognition," I should still reference the 2002 paper, correct? I'm also using a second database that was processed in a much earlier version, which I'm pretty confident is t...

Reliability and accuracy of sulcal labels - reference?
Since I am using BV in my dissertation/pub(s), I'd like to discuss the reliability and accuracy of the automatic sulcal labels. I'm aware of the 2002 paper by Riviere et al (in Medical Image Analysis); is that the best/only source or is there a more recent or more specific paper I should also consul...

Re: Optimizing surface renderings
Here is the second attachment. For this one, the alternative Bias Correction option made a dramatic difference and seems to have resolved the initial processing errors

Re: Optimizing surface renderings
I've been trying different things based on this thread and the "Error in Pipeline" thread. So far the alternate "Bias Correction" option looks the best (the alternate Histogram option yielded fatal errors on 2/5 brains, and the alternate Grey-white Interface option did not result...

Re: Error in "Pipeline T1 2007"
I know you said you resolved the issue by using a Linux system, but I think I may have just encountered the same problem and figured out a solution so I thought I'd share in case it's helpful (FYI, I'm working on a Mac): I've had a few of my files hit a fatal error in the "Split Brain Mask"...

Optimizing surface renderings
I'm processing a new set of brains and the surface renderings are not great (e.g., lots of indentations/dents, etc). I suspect it's due to the fact that the images are relatively old and not of the best quality. However, if I do want to try to tweak the processing settings to improve the results, is...

Setting and saving opacity in "Show Fold Graph" viewer
When viewing a hemisphere using "Anatomist Show Fold Graph," the image is semi-transparent. I know how to change the transparency, but was wondering if there is a way to change the default settings (or save a macro, or something like that) so that I do not need to manually do so when viewi...

Re: Multiple protocols in same database - error with recognition
Thanks for the response and apologies for not seeing this until now! I think you were right - it was not correctly recognized; I was able to resolve the issue by restoring a previous version from back up. Thanks!

Multiple protocols in same database - error with recognition
I recently converted an older database for use with version 3.1.6 but am having problems using the "Show Fold Graph" Viewer. The database contains 2 protocols, and when I go into the "Database Browser" both protocols (and the files within) are visible; however, when I try to use ...
