Re: Parametrization of sulci

I do apologize for my missing answer! I have converted all files to .ply (AimsmeshBrain), in order to make visual inspections and to correct them manually. The reason why I want my mesh to .arg format is in order to use your parametrization. Is there any way your parameterization can be used based o...

Parametrization of sulci

Hi I'm interested in a parametrization of CS. The sulci have been extracted (nicely!) in Brain Visa and afterwards manually corrected. The current format is .ply. I have two questions: 1) In a post from Oct 2012 it says that the parametrization it is not fully implemented is that still true? 2) Is t...

VipOpenFold

Dear BV Expert I read in another post that “AimsMeshBrain yields nice brain mesh only if coupled with VipOpenFold”. 1) My aim is to extract CS, and I get ok meshes without. What is the purpose of VipOpenFold in relation to remeshing? 2) When I run VipOpenFold (I run it before AimsMeshBrain) I add a ...

Re: Mesh commands

Hi Denis Thank you for the quick reply! I see you point. I thought that the GM/CSF interface was found along the wall in the entire sulci, so the space in between represent the CSF in the sulci? If the sulci is only one voxel thick is that then only one wall (left or right) or is it the medial or? B...

Re: Mesh commands

Hi
Is it true that a mesh extracted from a sulci can not be used in a study of the thickness of the sulci?? I was hoping to do so :|

("I have no opinion about the consequence for thickness study, our mesh were not design for that..")

Thanks!

Re: Exporting an entire sulci to matlab

Thank you :) .
Does a point correspondence exist between the extracted sulci? And if so how is it established?

Exporting an entire sulci to matlab

From other threads I understand that picking up a mesh with an entire labeled sulci from the .arg file, one need to add some coding. I presume (or hope) that I’m not the first one that aims at picking up an entire sulci, so I thought that someone might give a bit of help on: 1) Where in the program ...

Morphologisk

Hi :) 1) When I go through the toturial the pipeline of the "Morpholigisk 2012" does not fill out the forms automatically as it says in the toturial? It stops at every step and ask for the required fields? 2) When I read in an image and click the on "the database" to "typing...
