whole brain/slice histogram from FA and ADC Maps
I was wondering if there is any way in anatomist to create whole brain histograms based on FA or ADC maps. Ideally I would like to exclude CSF from this histogram. Also, is it possible to create whole slice histogram based on FA or ADC maps? Again I would like to exclude CSF from this. Thank you for...

Region Of Interest Names
Dear Brainvisa users and developers, I am trying to select several regions of interest in the brain. I am very constrained by the choices that are offered in the regions of interest box. I need to name some of these regions of interest unique names such as Left Dentate Nucleus, etc. I was wondering ...

Brightness and Contrast
Is there any way to adjust the brightness and contrast when viewing MR images? This feature is customarily used to highling subtle features of a radiograph, CT, or MRI scan.

You should go through the pipeline or manually under diffusion menu's and create all the necessary FA, ADC, VR maps and such. When you want to do DTI interpolated tracking you will need to specify starting points. This is a seed from which tracks will be drawn. To pick this open FA map(any of the ma...

Diffusion MRI Slice Alignment
Dear BrainVisa users and developers, Again, I am analyzing patient MRI data collected on day 0 and day 5. These are diabetic patients presenting with ketoacidosis(DKA). I need a way to align their MRI slices with each other. Is there any feature in BrainVisa or Anatomist that will allow me to do tha...

Region of Interst Area
Dear BrainVisa users and developers, I am using BrainVisa to to analyze differences in diffusion coefficient on day 0 and day 5 of patients that presented in acute diabetic ketoacidosis. I need to select a ROI of a particular area in terms of mm^2 or cm^2. I am using the Disc and modifiying its size...

I am using a tool called ImageJ from NIH. It is supposed to be very powerful. It has RAW import. However, I have to specify the data type. And FLOAT is not one of them. I am assuming this is similar to 32 bit unsigned number for freactional anisotropy maps. I tried importing as 32 bit signed, 32 bit...

Fractional Anisotropy & Apparent Diffusion Coefficient S
Dear BrainVisa users and developers, I have generated fractional anisotropy and diffusion coefficient maps of 55 gradient diffusion MRI data. I can see the axial slice represented map in BrainVisa. I can even choose a region of interest. Howerver, I can't see any features in BrainVisa where I can ta...

Fiber Track Visualization w/ Anatomic Overlay
Dear Brainvisa users and Developers, I have generated some fiber tracks using BrainVisa's interpolated tracking system(thanks to support from BrainVisa developers). These fibers are visualized in Anatomist in 3D fashion. However, I am unable to fuse MRI slices with these fibers. I need to do that so...

DTI Interpolated Tracking
Dear Sir, I am using brainvisa to analyze some DICOM data. My data is in either 25 channel or 56 channels. I first create a database from preference menu. Thereafter I import the DICOM directory files. I am able to user Diffusion Tensor and Diffusion Maps and the output is generated. My sole aim, ho...
