Re: System Requirements

Having native amd64 package would be great. Now I am trying to run 3.1 on amd64 box and I get $> brainvisa.3.1/setup.sh Fontconfig warning: line 32: unknown element "cachedir" Fontconfig warning: line 33: unknown element "cachedir" Fontconfig error: "conf.d", line 1: no...

The processor depends only on the money you will put in it... any Intel 32 bit (itaniums are not supported) or AMD CPU is OK (we don't have an AMD64 version yet but it will run in 32 bit mode), multi-CPU machines are also OK (althrough not fully exploited by BV yet). Any plans for releasing amd64 n...

simlistic python script to start Anatomist interactively

Would anyone mind sharing a minimalistic python script to make use of anatomist from interactive (ipython) session. I've tried to "tesselate" neuro.py to reduce it to the point sufficient to simply run a=Anatomist.anatomist() but gave up for now since probably many of you do use such simpl...

is there an easy way to know orientation/zoom parameters (view_quaternion) of a given object so I could simply add them into .ana file.
.anatomist/protocol.ana seems to don't store any information on orienation/zoom operations I performed.

thanks in advance

AnaSplitBrainFromBrainMask fails

I've been trying to run Ana Do A Lot of Things from T1 MRI and then just Ana Split Brain from Brain Mask and got the next error message. Where should I look for the source of the problem? It might be I screwed things up somehow again :-) The version of brainvisa is 3.0.1 Process identifier AnaSplitB...

My bad: PATH wasn't setup correctly since I didn't source SHFJEnvironmentVariables.sh

Although it would be more diagnostic if error message (command not found) was reported instead of python choking :-)

Anyways, Thank you for great tool!

skull meshes

What is your favorite alternative software to generate skull(in/out) meshes? (freesurf/brainsuite/ASA/oth) That is sad that there is no even half-automatic tool for that in brainvisa... or did I miss something? :-)
