If anyone needs nifti input/out functionality

Try our preliminary plug in

It should allow you to import nifti files into bvisa directory format.
It should also allow you export ima files into nifti format.
It should take care of the orientation conversions

FSL has the most stable converter at the moment. It is called avwchfiletype. It will convert from NIFTI to ANALYZE.

Thanks Denis, The index attribute is unique in a graph, it is assigned upon creation (by the Vip library) to each node, but in different graphs, the same index has no common meaning. this is OK for me. I want to do all this at an individual level, not as a generic (i.e. subject independent) process...

Hi Peter, Well, displaying over a network sounds less surprising to me: I guess most (not to say all) GLX network implementations have bugs. Especially shared OpenGL display lists and network GLX display seem not to like each other at all. This is not a problem for single-windowed applications (inc...

Hi Peter, I haven't seen such a problem for years. What 3D card/driver are you using ? Do you run anatomist in a remote display (on a network) ? Denis I've done it both way e.g. locally and over the network and seems to do it. Strangelly enough it does it on at all the video cards that we have arou...

Anatomist crashing X-server

My anatomist tends to crash X-server if try to overlay 3-D graphics with images - such dragging sucal mesh and placing on top of the raw image. If that doesn't kill X - closing this window usually does the job. I understand that this is probably an X-server bug that is getting "exploited" ...

Re: [url]Import Siemens MGH DTI

Hi all, :?: So my first question is... Has anybody already done it? If not I would like to create the import sequence; I don't know if I'm good in Brains but I'm definitely good in Visas... This will be good practice for the bv newbie that I am. I've done. It is quite easy. Are you refering to the ...

Re: thx

That is not dura you're seeing - but CSF flow. For you future image aquvisition just vary your TI over a small range - that will take away the TOF hyperintensity effect.

I guess that answer is - you can't.
I understand that there was an attempt to localize/name individual deep gray matter structures, but it is not functioning yet.

79x100x68 is rather small. Typical images are 256x256x124, and normalized SPM images are about 160x190x130. Your image seems to be twice as small, or have a resolution twice bigger. What is the voxel size ? Segmentation is possible with voxels of about 1mm. If your image has 2mm resolution, it is p...
