Hi,
Usually, the thing you describe happens when no database directory is selected in Brainvisa preferences. Go to Brainvisa menu -> preferences -> databases and check that an existing directory is selected. If not, add a new database.

Re: brainvisa installation issues
Hello, What do you mean by "changing the python version" ? A suitable version of Python is already included in Brainvisa packages, and Brainvisa uses this version, not a version installed on the system. So, you cannot try different versions of python... I don't really understand what you m...

Re: Error in BrainVISA : unable to open database file
This is very strange, I've never seen this error before. Maybe the database file is corrupted. You can try to remove the database.sqlite file in your database directory. If you don't have any database directory selected, maybe it is the brainvisa shared database file that is corrupted and you can tr...

Re: Sulci recognition with SPAM
Hello, It seems that you copied the models at the right place. Maybe you forgot to update brainvisa shared database after that ? To do so, you can run the brainvisa process data management -> update databases. Check the shared database : brainvisa/share/shfj-4.0 and click on update. Or instead, you ...

Hello,
First, you can try the alternative method for bias correction step : unroll the bias correction step in the pipeline and change the selected method. The parameters are not the same and in some cases, one works better than the other.

Re: Brainvisa Database
Hi Philippe, Thanks for the clue. We will investigate about this problem. But be carefull, when you want to update only a part of the database, you can indeed call db.update with the parameter directoriesToScan but it must be a list of paths, not just a path : db.update( directoriesToScan=[path1, pa...
