Well, the annealing schedule dedicated to the sulci is not based on a standard Gibbs sampling. It is a bit tricky to explain in a few words but we added some iterations inspired from some other dynamics usually used to sample phase transitions of spin glasses. Practically, these specific iterations ...

Maybe the easiest way is to reverse engineer it from AimsIO library, or use directly the code there?
You can also used the ASCII version of the mesh format described in the help pages of brainVISA web site.

Well, for the b=1500, I do not know what happen. Send us some data. We noticed some problems with slices at the top of the brain, because of a lack of tissue but nothing more. For the model of distortion used in the correction, there is a misunderstanding. Whatever the gradient direction, the distor...

Sorry, moment computation is not open source for the moment. There is maybe a solution through the distribution of the binaries of the lib aimsalgo. I could provide you with the interface of the moment computation, then you could use the source of the lib aimsdata to provide the data structure. Of c...

From the histogram snapshot you sent me, I assume your data have a low contrast between grey and white matter. Unfortunately, the current pipeline is borderline with such images, because it was developed from acquisition with optimized contrast, which is usually easy to achieve via a tuning of the M...

Thanks,
I think this bug lasted long because when people want the last coordinate, they just do not specify the -Y or -Z flag and get it by default. Hope it may temporarily help.

I think using analyse format with the current package is the best way to enter brainVISA for minc format. Minc format is now recognize by brainVISA, but the complete packaging is only for the next release at the begining of 2005.

I know the .hie file structure, that's why i thought it wouldn't be very hard to get a .hie from a .arg obviously, i'd like to incorporate this in my program (i.e do not write .hie file by hand :-) ) Good luck, I am sure you can do it:-) Do not think Denis did it before. However Arnaud may have don...

The color code used by Anatomist to display the sulci acts either on the label attribute (automatically defined) or on the name attribute (manually defined) of each fold. Maybe your Anatomist configuration uses the name attributes as default. You can change option in the menu "Settings/graph pa...

Like often, only Denis can clarify what you can or can not do. However I even wonder why you need to create a subgraph. As far as I am understanding, you just need to know the list of sulci you are interested in? I bet there is nothing to convert a graph into a hierarchy, or even to do a hierarchy f...

I am not sure I completely understand what you have in mind, maybe because I am not a sigraph expert (Denis is in Taiwan for 2 weeks...). I understand you want to select a list of specific sulci in any brain, and you want to use the hierarchy mecanism for that? And this list of sulci corresponds to ...
