Re: Cerebellum 3D recontruction
During the segmentation process, the brain is separated in three parts: two hemispheres and an object composed mainly of cerebellum and brain stem. In the rest of the project, this third object is simply ignored. To my knowledge, we do not have tools to extract only the cerebellum. But it is quite e...

Re: Help! How to correct mask?
The kind of strange meshes we can see on your image are similar to the ones displayed by a buggy OpenGL version on Linux. See the following post or search "Mesa" on the forum.

Re: BrainVISA 3.1
When you select a database directory, you can create a directory if you use the browser (the button with a folder icon). Anyway creating a new directory by other means and selecting it as a database should work (as long as BrainVISA has write access to that directory).

Re: Import GE T1 MRI whith BV 3.1
This error is due to a test checking that an attribute value cannot be defined twice. The "modality" attribute is defined in brainvisa-3.1 ontology and it is also defined in minf file (probably coming from DICOM format). I just removed the test because internally there are two attributes s...

Re: System Requirements
The Fontconfig errors and warnings are due to a difference between a Linux library on the system we use to build packages (Fedora Core 4) and more recent Linux. It should not prevent things to work. In your case, the real problem is this Floating point exception but we do not have amd64 computer so ...

Re: BrainVISA 3.1
Strange problem indeed. The only possibility I found to reproduce your problem is to remove all databases from BrainVISA. If you have at least one selected database in preferences, I will need more information about your configuration. Which importation process are you using ? Do you see a red icon ...

Re: BrainVISA 3.1
Hi Marine, What do you mean by "I can't define a new protocol, ..." ? The GUI does not allow you to type a protocol name or nothing is happening when you modify it ? In 3.1 version, there is no button to push to create a value for an attribute. If the attribute is editable, you just have t...

Could you put the image somewhere (CEA's ftp server for instance) ?
Re: gifti
Yes but only through BrainVISA (i.e. not directly with Anatomist or Aims) because we have BrainVISA processes to convert between GIFTI and Mesh (mainly done by Olivier Coulon) but there is no Aims reader for GIFTI.

This module is not included in the distribution because nobody took the responsability to maintain and support it. It is a very simple process that I wrote on my personal time but it was clear from the begining that I do not want to take time to support it. However, I think it should be possible to ...

Re: Averaging DTI (.bck)
Tensors are matrices, they cannot be averaged by addition and division. But if you want to try things on tensors you can convert each coefficient into an image and play with these images. A tensor is a 3x3 symetric matrix: dxx dxy dxz dxy dyy dyz dyz dyz dzz You can extract 6 images, each one contai...

Yes there will be a new version shortly (probably at the en of march). Unfortunately, Bertrand Thirion parcelation toolbox will not be included in this release. I will ask him more information about that.
