Bug in 3.1 "Brain Mask for T2" in diffusion pipeline

Post by houenou »

Hi guys,
There seems to be a bug in the Linux version of your 3.1. Brainvisa.
It is impossible for me to run "brain mask for T2" in diffusion pipeline because
1° the database refuses to build a name, hierarchy etc... for the mask file
2° when I manually put a name for the mask file, and press "run" , I get the error message "argument mask is mandatory"

Please note that all these things work perfectly well under the 3.0 Linux version and in the 3.1 Windows version

thanks
Josselin

Hi Josselin,

Maybe you try to run this process on a 3.0 database ?
Database organization has changed in Brainvisa 3.1 and old databases are not compatible with the new version. And the diffusion pipeline has also changed and uses the new hierarchy.
If you have an old database, you can convert it to 3.1 format using the process : "data management/convertOldDatabase".

Hi,
No, I took a new raw image and created a database from it.
The database seems to run perfectly well.
Please note, that by undergoing exactly the same steps, I get this bug only in the 3.1 Linux version and not in the 3.1 Windows one...
Any help ?
bye

Hello,

I cannot reproduce this problem. I don't see any difference between the linux and windows version for this process.
Can you give me more details : linux distrib, screen capture of the process, the database settings file (database_settings.minf).
Maybe you can send me your data by email...
