fd4 and fd4_native morphometric models

Post by ericbarnhill »

Hello,

I see that in the statistics there is a default model called fd4 and a second option called fd4_native . Does this mean that the default statistics are in Talairach space but they can also be produced for native space? Or does it mean something else?

Thanks,
Eric

Hi,
Yes, you're right.
You can obtain more information about models in "Morphometry -> Viewers -> Show Model Graph Info" process.
For these models :
Lfolds-model-fd4_native and Rfolds-model-fd4_native
These models are for 3.1 graphs which include cortical thickness information. They may be used for morphometry, but not for sulcal recognition yet because they have not been trained on a suitable database.
These models are the same as the folds-model-fd4 models, except that they provide measurements in the native space of subjects rather than in the normalized Talairach space
