Hi,
i'd like to convert a set of DICOM files,
0001.DCM
0002.DCM
.....
0130.DCM
each one is a slice of an IRM volume,
to a single GIS file.
And i can't manage,
i try to use AimsConverter(advanced) and VolumeSeriesToSingleFile(expert), but it fail...i don't really understand how to use these commands.
Thanks,
Seb.
DICOM to GIS
If it is a T1 MRI image, I would have imported the image using BrainVisa "data management / Importation / anatomy / Import T1 MRI" : you can choose any slice of your image as input, and the whole 3D image will be imported as a GIS file into the BrainVisa database.
If you prefer to use the command line, AimsFileConvert may be useful.
p.s. : that kind of question should probably be put in the "brainvisa users" forum, not "developpers".

AimsConverter is a BrainVISA wrapper to AimsFileConvert. Therefore, it should work to convert your image. The trick is that you only need to enter one of your input file (i.e. 0001.DCM), the other should be processed automatically. Try to open your image with Anatomist (wiht "<whatever>/anatomist 0001.DCM") it uses the same reader library as Aims therefore if it is correct in Anatomist, there is no reason that it fails in AimsFileConvert and therefore AimsConverter should work.
