Our group is doing reserch about fibertracking, we want to try BV, but from helppage ,we can not find some information about it.
first, we want know how to import GEMS DWI ,we have tried many way to do this,but we failed.
could you please help us?

o process diffusion data with BrainVISA you should follow the following steps :
1) Create a database.
This is a directory with a specific structure. By choosing Preferences->Databases menu, you can 'Add' a new database. You just have to fill the 'Directory' field.
2) Import data in database.
You should use one of the BrainVISA process in data management->import->diffusion. Try 'Import Diffusion GEMS' or 'Import Diffusion GEMS old sequence'. If it fails use the BrainVISA interface to send me a bug report (Support->Bug report menu) with the log file attached.
3) Process the data.
You can easily use the DTI pipeline and tracking tools when data are properly inserted in the database.
