I don't know how to make a set of voxels of sulcus.
Using BrainVISA , I just made the .arg file ( in anatomy/morphometry)
In addition, I tried to use command lines named 'siGraph2Label' and 'siMeshSulciProjection'

siGraph2Label make it possile to create a volume from a graph file ?
and then, what is the format of that volume ?

And, siMeshSulciProjection ..
If using that command, is it possible to map the sulcal region on the surface model?

I have one more question ^^
I'm interested in cortical surface parcellation.
And I read paper " A generic framework for the parcellation of the cortical surface
into gyri using geodesic Voronoi diagrams ".
I saw the result figure in this paper.
In BrainVISA, sulcal ribbon can be extracted and labeled.
But using BrainVISA, Can I parcellate the cortical surface as a gyral region like figures in that paper ?
I tried to find that treatment in BrainVISA, but I couldn't.
So I wanna know the method to do that.
Please Could you answer for me?

Hi,

Go into the preference of brainVISA,
select the expert user level.
Then additional brainVISA functionalities will
appear, for instance the possibility to create
volumes of labels corresponding to the sulci
in anatomy/morphometry.

For the projection of the sulci on the cortical surface
and the cortical surface parcellation into gyri, we are still
in a BETA testing period. Anyway, I think
it would not be wise to try that without mastering
the sulcus module of brainVISA. Therefore,
even if you see some stuff appearing in expert level,
it is dedicated to some beta sites which have additional
information (various files describing the gyral models).
Therefore, it is useless to try them. We will release a user friendly
version as soon as possible.
