Dear BV experts,
I have some questions about T1 pipline 2005.
1. In past mail, I found some discussion about histogram analysis was not finish in T1 pipline 2005. So, after I use bias correction under T1 pipline 2005, can I continuous go through whole process in T1 pipline 2005 ? or I need to go back to T1 pipline 2004 ?
2. How to make "Ana do a lot of things" use T1 pipline 2005 ?
3. If T1 pipline 2005 is not finish in version 3.01, does it will finish in version 3.02 ?
thanks replay

T1 pipline 2005 questions
Hi,
The first thing to know is that Pipeline 2005 is under developpement or expert user level (level 2).
That is why there are not all steps of the anatomical pipeline and it is not organized like Pipeline 2004 yet.
1-> About histogramm analysis, today you must use rather procees of 2004
2 -> As I say above, not "Ana do a lot of things" in 2005.
3-> Perhaps

The right strategy for you is to use the bias correction of pipeline 05,
lock it (see validation process) and switch back to pipeline 04. There may
be some useful other things in the 2005 one, but this
would require a documentation. Anyway, I am sorry I do not find time
to converge on the various ongoing developments.

Hi there,
from my experience with our difficult images the best results are achieved when using :
Bias correction : 2005 (huge improvement, thank you Jeff)
Histogram analysis : 2004
Everything that follows : 2005
I hope this helps,
Olivier

In fact the Brain Mask and the Split Brain treatments include the process of 2004 (standard + correction), so it can simplify the life of some of you. But the new variants are not finished,
it would be better not to use them. Finally the new cortical surface extraction is unfortunately very very creative. I think the old one is much better now when 2005 's bias correction is used before.
