What am I doing in the projects presented on this web site ?

I have a permanent position in the GAIAS group of SHFJ in Orsay, France as a research engineer. Jean-François Mangin (Jeff) is my direct boss.

Publications

Research

• Cortical sulci recognition system
• Anatomical image analysis in general (but Jeff is the most competent person on this area)
• Minimisation techniques based on simulated annealing: with Jeff
• Some machine learning techniques mixing neural networks and simulated annealing
• Structural morphometry techniques and studies, with Edouard and Jeff
• Contribution in Arnaud's work on gyri parcellation
• Contribution in the sulcal analysis based on the primal sketch of the cortical curvature: PhD work of Arnaud, with Jeff and Olivier

Computer programs

• Anatomist: main developer
• Contribution to BrainVISA: debugging in the core, some aspects of Anatomist-BrainVISA link, porting, a number of processes. Yann is the main developer of BrainVISA.
• Maintenance and development in other C++ libraries (AIMS etc), with Yann, Cyril and Dimitri
• Graph recognition, learning, simulated annealing library (C++) and its application to cortical sulci: sigraph
• Porting of all software to all supported OSes
• Contribution to the build system of our programs: with Dimitri and Yann
• Some maintenance on this web site

Well, a sane reader should stop here and not read below this point.

I like doing funny things with computers

• Computer game (no time to work on it now and the web pages are in french, but...)
• Other computer programs, (mostly for basic sound manipulation under Linux) also for french speaking people, or more probably for nobody at all.

and I use some spare time (like lab meetings) to draw senseless things

• And of course many icons, logos and drawn images in Anatomist and this web site
