This process computes the coordinates of the axes of the model from a set of individuals, i.e. from a set of flat mesh and corresponding flat sulcal lines as produced by the Harmonic Intrinsic Parameterization (HIP) process.
The coordinate values of the axes of the model are defined for a group of subjects after the unconstrained mapping (HIP) in the rectangular domain. For each axis, the computation of the coordinate value is based on the weighted barycenter of the points associated to the sulcal fundi corresponding to this axis across the subjects of the group.
