Re: importing a mnc file: is there a database format?
Hi again, I did manage to convert a roots volume to mnc format, which works like a charm. What I would like however is to convert the labelled sulcal folds, which can be either in a labeled volume (albeit not subvoxel in accuracy), or better still, in a collection of labeled triangulated surfaces, t...

Re: importing a mnc file: is there a database format?
Hi gents,
I managed to view the Fold Graph, as suggested by Jean-Francois, and illustrated below. For some reason, many of the sulci appear pink, towards the posterior side. Any idea why this is so?
I'll play around with AimsFileConvert next.

Re: importing a mnc file: is there a database format?
Thanks so much, JF and Yann. I will give it a try. If this leads to a paper, and I think that it will, I'd like to include one or two of you as co-authors. I'll be in touch as things develop, although it's equally likely that I will have more lame questions along the way.
Best wishes,
Michel

Re: importing a mnc file: is there a database format?
Hi Denis, I managed to set up the database properly, using the Convert Old Database command. The label of that command is a bit misleading. I didn't really have an old database, but doing this meant having a database set up, and meant also that when it comes time to import T1, the interface suggests...

Re: how to do "Ana Process A lot of things" with current s/w?
Hi Denis, I must be doing something wrong with the import. I've gotten an .ima file of the same name, but it does not seem to process the database properly, and if I try again: NotInDatabaseError neuroProcesses.py (2167) in _processExecution: result = process.execution( self ) ImportT1MRI.py (188) i...

Re: how to do "Ana Process A lot of things" with current s/w?
So far I'm seeing the following, after giving it AC, PC and other points, and selecting Run: neuroProcesses.py (2167) in _processExecution: result = process.execution( self ) neuroProcesses.py (962) in execution: return self._executionNode.run( context ) neuroProcesses.py (1650) in run: return self....

Re: how to do "Ana Process A lot of things" with current s/w?
Sorry, playing around, I may have found something relevant: 2007 T1 pipeline. Lemme play with it and report back. Cheers, Michel Hi folks. I don't recall how to save the AC, PC, Interhemispheric point, and left hemispheric point in the window GUI. Please remind me. Somehow, the position that I clic...

how to do "Ana Process A lot of things" with current s/w?
Dear all, I am interested in starting from a mnc volume, which I managed to convert to ima format, and doing the equivalent of "Ana do a lot of things" which handled the whole pipeline in the past to extract sulci, including the segmentation. How do I proceed with the current software? Bes...

importing a mnc file: is there a database format?
Hi all, I'm playing around with Brainvisa after a year or so of neglecting it, based on a new release, and I'm seeing errors in trying to load mnc file. I get the following self._startProcess( self.process, executionFunction ) neuroProcesses.py (2003) in _startProcess: apply( self._setArguments, (_p...

Re: Centos OS 4.5 or Ubuntu
Looks like that did it, Yann. Thanks. I perhaps should have caught that, but the message was a little cryptic, even if explicit about the line number.
I'll be in touch as things progress.

installing SHFJ_...-3.0.2 on Ubuntu 8.10: Qt module errors
Hi gents, I'm trying to install SHFJ_pack-stable-linux-3.0.2 on Ubuntu 8.10, and finding that I'm getting Qt errors. Please see below... I'm using Synaptic Package Manager... Can anyone spot the error? Is it a .bashrc environment define that is missing, or a package? Best wishes, Michel michel@miche...
