Re: projection of INSULA onto the white mesh

Yes, the insula has a particular processing because the projection of the insula corresponds to the whole insula while the projection of the other BV sulci correspond to the bottom of the sulci.

Hi Guillaume,

You should find some answers to your questions in the conversation we had on the forum with Cedric Clouchoux (from Marseille) regarding the correspondance between the sulcus label defined on the texture (int) and its actual name on the sulcus graph.

I've started to develop this process during my PhD and I have finished it. This process and the SiMeshSulciOperture related commande line won't be updated in the next release because nothing has been done so far (actually, I have forgotten to remove it from BrainVisa...) Moreover, this process (even...

Dear JLH,

I think I do not understand the question because the "brain volume" process and the "CSF classification" process do not use the brain voronoi image.

PS/ The development version of Brainvisa is dedicated to the developers and so should not be used :(

I've corrected it. Brainvisa calls this file <SUBJECT>_sulci_to_texture.txt (sulci_to_texture_traduction in 'Create Label Texture' and '2D White Matter Parcellation')

Hi Cedric, The values on the output texture correspond to the label of the projected sulci. You can find the sulci-to-integer map in the file *txt in the directory graphe of the subject. It looks like ---------- F.C.L._left 1 F.C.L._right 2 F.C.L.r.ant._left 3 F.C.L.r.ant._right 4 F.C.L.r.asc._left ...

Even if the sulcus name are ok for you, you have to provide a .trl file (ie, as you say, just with the original sulcus names without any translation).

Hi Cedric, These two files are used to select the sulci that have to be projected : - the .gyr file define sulci to be projected (for instance S.C. and S.F.sup.). Initially, this file was developed for the parcellation in gyrus and so require some information related to the gyrus : each line contain...

Projection & label texture

Hi Cedric, I'm happy to see that some people use this function  Actually, only the first time serie (t=0) of this timetexture is usefull ; the other time serie correspond to the different steps of the sulcal line projection (point-to-point and global connected component projection). Perhaps I s...
