Re: parcellation and functional connectivity analysis
Hi Bruno, I have used the 'create surface based functional data' with, as far as I know from the fact that the process didn't output any errors, success. Well done, you're one of the first. - Does a routine exists to average the extracted time courses of all nodes of a parcell ? No but I will build ...

Font problem with BV 4.0 on Mandriva 2010
Hello,
I have just installed BV 4.0 on a Mandriva 2010. It works but with a weirds font (see image).
Any idea why ?

Re: Cortical surface toolbox - surface analysis pipeline
The warnings are alright, they are just leftovers of old debug information. To get grey Matter volume, I think you need to make sure that the 'Parcellation' field is set to 'Cortical Ribbon'. After that I am not sure because I did not write this process but I think that one of the output arguments i...

Re: Cortical surface toolbox - surface analysis pipeline
Hello Aurely, For that I ran the parametrisation of cortical surface pipeline. The operation succeeded and all seems to be good. Well done ! After that, to have the volume, I tried to launch the surface analysis pipeline. But I don't know how to fill in the field "contrast". it seems it ha...

Re: Keeping windows synchronized under zero gravity mode
But when I create the group and that I turn one brain in one window, the other ones are not synced ... Same if I display axial slices. Do I have to do anything specific ?
By the way, Ctrl+L does not work for me, I have to go to "window->link windows".
Thanks,
olivier

Re: Keeping windows synchronized under zero gravity mode
I would like this post as an opportunity to learn more about Ctrl+L. It links windows ina group, but what can we do after this ? I see the group in the main window but there is no specific synchronization. In fact, nothing happens. Am I missing something ?

series of 3D files to a 4D file
Hello, I can't seem to find the Aims command that takes a series of 3D files and turns it into a single 4D file. I thought there was one... Is it AimsFileConvert ? There is BV process in tools->converters that is called "Volume Series to single file" but it won't let me select a series of ...

Re: 'list index out of range' when trying to use registration
Thank you Yann, that was the problem. When images come from other software they do not necessarily set 4 dimensions for a 3D volume, so I just needed to do a AimsFileConvert.
Thanks again,
Olivier

'list index out of range' when trying to use registration
Hi, I tried to register a functional image to the same subject's T1 image using the "Rigid registration with mutual information" process, and I get the same error than in this post : http://brainvisa.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1348 . It shows as follows : in Rigid registration with...

Converting a database to the new 3.1 format
Hello there, I am working with a old database (3.0) and converted it to a new database (using the convert database tool). Then when I use some other BV process, some fields are not filled in because there seem to be a problem with minf files that were generated in the old database, they are not reco...

Hello, I will get in touch with Grégory (who created the process) and see what he thinks of that. I will (or he will) let you know.

Re: cortical surface-based functional analysis
Hello,
I'm afraid voxel size is not the issue. Anatomist can correct for that when it displays images and brainvisa takes it into account when processing images. From what I saw, I guess it could be a problem of origin, maybe you could check where is the origin in both scans.
