Use the most recent one, that has a number in front (number 4). It can triggers
all the possibilities to split the brain. This process is tricky, and it is difficult to help
with the problems. The main ones is related to the correct split between hemisphere and cerebellum.
The only solution is to try various parameters in order to get the best result, then finish by hand.
If you are lucky, and you have atrophic brains, it could work much better...

Hi Mangin:
There is usually an error in the "4-Split mask", which will not occur in "Ana split mask". I donot know why?
Thank you!

Hi,

Yes, you are right, there was a bug in this process. We have already fixed it in our sources, but we do not have released an updated version yet.
If you wish, by the meantime, you can fix it for you: just replace "self.brain_voronoi" by "self.split_mask" in file:

Code: Select all

<brainvisa_directory>/brainvisa/toolboxes/t1mri/processes/segmentationpipeline/components/SplitBrain.py
