VIP warning

Hi,

I have a problem with the segmentation of a particular MRI. When I start running the Segmentation Pipeline 2007 it first warns me:

!VIP warning:
Impossible to distinguish gray and white matter: insufficient grey white contrast, you have to increase field regularization
in VipBiasCorrection)

And then after some other messages the process crashes in the "Split Brain Mask" step. I tried to increase 'field_rigidity' and 'zdir_multiply_regu' (many combinations of these parameters in fact) without success. Any clue of what should I do?

Hi,

Indeed it can fail when the image has a low contrast.
You can try the alternative method for the bias correction and for the histogram analysis steps for example, or decrease the field rigidity parameter.
