BrainVisa Suite installation error

Good afternoon,

I've been trying to install the new version, but every time I lunch the installer and the package start to extract, I get this error message.

Cannot find missing dependency 'brainvisa.app.thirdparty.python_qt4-4.9.1' for 'brainvisa.app.soma.run.soma_workflow'

I removed the older version, tried on a different computer, same issue.

I appreciate any help for fixing this issue.

Hi,
Yes you are right the Ubuntu 16.04 version had broken dependencies. I don't really know how this got messed up (I did a manual fix afterwards and I must have done something wrong). I have rebuilt the entire packages so I hope it is better now. The thing is I can't remember why I did this manual intervention, and I'm pretty sure it was needed - and thus I don't remember if the packages I have just rebuilt do include the fix I did then or not. I'm doing too many things at the same time (and/or begin my Alzheimer). At least this one can be installed...

I'm sorry but I forgot to mention that I tried installing the Windows 64bit version of BrainVISA (I use brainvisa on windows).

I guess it must be the same issue as for the linux version.

Yes, there was the same issue on different systems, I have made some fixes (on Ubuntu 16, Mac, Windows 32/64, Mandriva), I didn't take time to test all of them but as it was the same problem, I hope they are fixed now. Tell us...
