I see there is a process listed for EPI correction of DWI data. Does this correction require a specific field map data collection that should be done separately? Thanks in advance.
Take care,

Distortion correction
Hi,
brainVISA currently includes a process to correct for eddy current induced distortions
in DWimages (as long as your encoding direction is the same as ours, otherwise there may be some flipping operations to add). No additional data is required (a paper on our site describes the method). The EPI specific distortion correction you may
also have found, which may lead to some confusion, is targeted only towards functional protocols performed on a 3T Brucker. As you may have guessed, this correction requires an additional field map. We may provide in a near future something similar for diffusion weighted data, but I can not forecast when...
