Have this documentation in a web page: right click -> open in a web browser. This will allow you to easily read the documentation while using brainvisa.
There are different ways in brainvisa, I suggest you initially use the basic method has a simpler interface.
For this brainvisa menu -> preferences -> brainvisa -> userLevel -> select Basic.
More options are available in advanced mode or expert.
Creating a database:
note: I urge you to read a few lines of quick start before continuing: An introduction to BrainVISA
- brainvisa menu -> preferences -> databases
- add button: Select the folder containing the database (eg folder name: KLS_brainvisaDataBase)
- OK button, then brainvisa request an update of the database: click on update.
- note: it is best to have only one selected database to avoid errors. Any time you want a different basis between input (for import) and output processing, you must select both database.
Import an image:
- If you want to import Dicoms, use : Nuclear Imaging icon -> import directory -> import Dicoms of One Subject.
- If you want to import images, like nii or img... use : Nuclear Imaging icon -> import directory -> import images of One Subject.
- A single click lets you see the documentation in the right pane. A double click opens treatment.
Use a pipeline:
- Nuclear Imaging icon -> pipeline name ... . A single click allows you to see the document in the right panel (a diagram showing the different processing steps that will undergo the image). A double click opens treatment.
- click on the starting point of the pipeline (top left) for the dashboard with all the parameters of the pipeline.
