Hi,
I guess your Mac is Intel based, right ? Then, yes, there is a problem in our binary package: python executables and libraries are "universal binaries" (both intel + ppc) whereas all other libs are ppc-only. This prevents the MacOS ppc emulator to work (there are other posts reporting the problem). We are fixing the problem and will upload a new package soon (I have to borrow an Intel Mac and test it...)
Moreover it seems that there is also a path problem that we must fix.
The next package will be built for ppc only (no universal binaries) and emulated on Intel, because we have to fix it quickly.
Later we will try to recompile everything in universal binaries mode, but it's much more work since many of the external libs we are using are not designed to be built as such and require manual setup when installing them. So we will proceed in 2 steps...

Hi,
We have made new binary packages that fix (I hope) reported problems.
The Mac package is an entirely powerpc binary, but should run on Intel in emulation mode. I have briefly tried it on an Intel MacOS 10.5 laptop and both brainvisa and anatomist start correctly (but I didn't test real processing).

Well... it seems that there is some problems with the database (even after conversion). When I use a process interface (like a pipeline) I can not use databases...
Did you see an error during the conversion ? Maybe you can try the process "Data management/Update databases".
if it does'nt work, you can look at your databases with the process "Data management/database hierarchy browser" and send me a screen shot.
It's just the use of the database is a little bit different from the older version...
Congratulations for this version of BV/anatomist greatly expected
