Registration interpolation

Post by synic »

Dear experts,

I was wondering if you could give some specification about the interpolation algorithm in BV registration interpolation. Which kind of interpolation is Bsplined ? and how many degrees ?

And BTW what is the galactic and intergalactic interpolation :) ?

Hi,
Which BV process are you takling about ? I don't really know what you want to do...
The only thing I can say is that the resampling command in both AIMS library (AimsResample) and VIP library (AimsSplineResamp) can perform nearest neighbour, linear, or spline resampling with degrees up to 7, based on the method of Philippe Thévenaz.
Now, resampling commands are used in various BV processes using different parameters depending on what we want to do at each use, so I can't say more in general...

This process is just a BrainVISA interface for AimsResample command.
