question

Post by joost »

Hi,

using version 4.0.1

some quick questions:
the generation of White and Hemi meshes and the generation of folds (*.arg files) do NOT IN ANY WAY depend on the L/Rgrey_white files (volumetric segmentations of grey and white), right?

White/Hemi meshes and folds DO depend on the L/Rcortex image (which in turn depends on the brainmask/voronoi/histogram), right?

merci,

Hi,
Yes, that's true I think. The grey_white images are used to build the white meshes (maybe the hemi mesh also?), but things are recalculated internally (and slightly differently) for the folds extraction. If you need to perform manual corrections, doing them on the cortex image may help (in some extent), but modifying the grey_white image will not change anything in the folds, if this is the reason of your question.
