Dear BVers,
For some reason we renamed some parts of sulci, using sub-names (part of S.T.S._left --> S.T.S.Horiz._left), and saved the brain.
However we found no way to export the renamed sulcus (S.T.S.Horiz._left) in Morphometry, even them were listed under S.T.S.
is there a way we can export them in addition to those of the original labels/names?
Many thanks in advance,
Morphometry with modified 'name'

Re: Morphometry with modified 'name'
Hi,
The morphometric measurements are performed by a model, which is built with a given set of sulci names. A few of the measurements (namely those needing an consistent orientation) are computed according to reference measurements computed on a learning database: so you cannot directly get the morphometric measurements on sulci whose names are not in the model.
But as these measurements needing additional stats on a learning database are not the most common, we have written a process in brainvisa to do so on a single sulcus. It is in userLevel 3, that is "more than expert", a level that you cannot set using the BV user interface: you have to manually edit the ~/.brainvisa/options.minf file to do so. This process is named "morphometry model and stats", in morphometry, and is so hidden because some of the measurements will not be correct or consistent, and because we normally do not offer any support on it.
